$11,900 seems like an overwhelmingly huge amount of money to raise in 6 months, right? 

Truth is I was overwhelmed with that number quite a few times in the fundraising process, I mean I was excited about my trip but feeling like raising that kind of support was impossible... until I remembered The One who got me into missions. You see for Him that number wasn't big at all. I think He took this time to answer my prayer of "grow my faith" and what He did is truly mind blowing, amazing, and I am still in shock about it. Here is what He did...

I started fundraising for my trip in February, ever since then He has been the constant thing in all of this craziness. Through this whole fundraising process I've learned a lot. I thought that the learning part came with training camp or the actual trip, but in reality it started with fundraising. Throughout this whole process my faith has been growing and last night it was like it exploded. I am leaving for training camp tomorrow and guess what? Last night God decided to take care of the rest of that $11,900 and fully fund me. He took others who were willing to give me their time, money, & prayers. He took me who had doubts about raising all this and fully funded me.

My favorite part about all this is that it really put in to perspective how big He is.

So yes $11,900 seems like an overwhelmingly huge amount of money to raise in any amount of time.

But not for God.
