Saturday I left Heart of Christ. I was able to spend the morning taking pictures with all my new made friends, saying goodbyes, and giving hugs.

God continued to amaze me day after day while I was there.

Some of the biggest things I learned was that….
  • Love has no language barrier...you can show love to someone without using any words.

  • That wherever God takes me His presence is with me so I'm never truly alone even the nights I'm laying in bed sick I'm still not alone

  • That I can make my home wherever God sends me, whether its back in PA with my family or in Honduras with all the people I've met who feel like family.

I was able to make Heart of Christ my home and my new normal…or not so new normal, because I'm realizing that being a missionary isn't the most normal life out there, but I wouldn't trade this opportunity I've been given for anything.

While riding the bus yesterday I realized this is the first of many "Adios" blogs I will have to write but my time has been so good, God is so good.

In Christ,
Cayla
